§ 38-23. Appeals.

  • (a)

    Any applicant, person or entity aggrieved or affected by the denial or grant of an application for a sign permit may appeal the determination to the planning commission by filing a written notice of appeal with the zoning administrator within 30 days following the decision. The appeal shall be heard within 30 days of the filing of the written notice of appeal.

    (b)

    The planning commission shall have 15 days following the hearing to issue a written decision.

    (c)

    Any party aggrieved or affected by the decision of the planning commission may appeal the decision by filing a writ of certiorari with the Rabun County Superior Court pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 5-4-1, et seq.
