§ 16. [Chairperson of board, duty and function; compensation of board members.]

(a)

The chairperson of the board of elections and registration shall chair all meetings of the board and be the spokesperson for the board.

(b)

The members of the board shall receive such compensation for their services as members of the board as may be determined by the Board of Commissioners of Rabun County. In addition thereto, they shall be reimbursed for their actual and necessary expenses incurred in the performance of their duties.

(c)

All amounts payable under this section shall be paid from the funds of Rabun County.
